Back to KL for our Flight!

We took the night train from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, we got 2 bed and 2 seat ticket, there were no choice.  So we split everything, because the train normally takes around 8 hour to KL, so 4 hours 2 person slept on the bed and the seats and the others 4 hours we switched.
I don't remember exactly at what time we arrived, but it was quit early for our flight, so we went to another mc donald for breakfast and then we leave our bags on lockers and went for a walk looking for something we haven't seen, the KL lake garden, which is really famous for the variaty of birds, well we couldn't see that, we went walking around the garden looking for a peaceful place to rest because of the lack of energy and money. at least we were there!

this was the first place we found, but it wasn't enough for us.
Yay! this is better! good choice Christina!
I find myself lucky to know this place, it was really peaceful and clean, we slept there for hours (sorry i don't remember exactly the time). i never though there were such a beauty place like this, i can said that we ended the travel in Malaysia happy and satisfied.
I recommend those who´s planning to visit singapore and malaysia, you better get your train ticket before and pay for the bed ticket is the best choice you can make!
Speciall thanks for Diana and Christina for the pictures, i was so lazy and tired using my camera...
Xi'An is the next stop, we meet other friends there and the end of mine and dianita's travel.

OH! i wanted to share this picture with you, is not the best quality and the best picture, because it was taken with my phone but the light of the background and the student chatting there look great, i can imagine this picture with a professional camera or a digital one...  This was the last picture i took before going to the train station in Singapore.

From Malaysia to Singapore

The first thing that came to my mind thinking about Singapore was food in a tiny expensive city.  Here we go, we arrived to Singapore from Malaysia, Melaka by bus, i'm not sure if it take us 6 hours to get there or less. I fall deeply asleep the whole way, so i don't remember. When we where passing the border i was so nervous, i was afraid that they'll asked me about a visa to get in (at that time i wasn't trusting the internet, why if they changed something and didn't updated on the internet at the last moment?) Well actually the guy who was checking my passport were also afraid not to find Panama in the list, it was a funny and stressed moment.
When we got in we were a little bit lost, hungry and without Singapore Dollars, how can we take a cap or a bus to our hostal without SGD, poor girls in a rich city!! well that never stop us, we were still alive and together so we walk around to find a bank and get some cash, after the bank we expected to take a taxi, but then this taxi driver told us that the hostal was around 15mins walking, really near!!! in China we walk more than that so that was nothing for us, but of course we got tired because we needed food at that moment.
can you imagine a Mercedez Benz as a taxi in Panama or any other Latin country?
Nice view from the highest pool in Singapore ¨Marina Bay Sands resort¨

Smart Singaporean kid

As you see is a really clean city
We booked a reasonable cheap hostal i mean not the cheapest one but the one that is up to the cheapest one.  well, it was the worst hostal i had ever been, really bad service.
We sleep in a 8 bed mixed room and we were 4 girls in the room, it was really weird to sleep with stranger, specially when they were guys and smelly and snoring. well this wasn't the bad service part it was just an experience, i´ll keep the bad service for myself, sorry.
Oh! i missed the universal studio in Singapore, anyway it wasn't a big deal for me to see that, i just wanted to hang around the city, anyway everything was really expensive for us, and compared to China and other countries, Singapore is one of the richest and cleanest City's in the world.
Fun fact: you cannot chew bubble gum around or smoke. (this is something i heard from someone else, i'm not sure if is true)
Next: back to Malaysia

Malaysia, Melaka

This was my 2nd stop with my amazing friends in Malaysia. We got there by bus from Kuala Lumpur Bus terminal. Before getting into the bus we were already surprise with the Bus Terminal, it was so Beautiful, that much that makes you feel like in the airport, well no... even better!
So, when we got into the bus it was another fairy tale, i mean, the bus was so comfortable, specially the seat, this was better than the first class seat of an airplane!  ok, i know im exaggerating but compare to other long distances bus this was fabulous, even though the distance from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka was just 4 hours.

The best thing here was our host, she gave us a momi aura, i was just missing my mom. She was so nice, explaining how or what we should do on our trip in Melaka, like: be careful with your cameras and your wallet, don´t take so much money out, don´t take your credit card, take care of each other, don´t go around with value stuff, lock it in your room, etc. etc.. She was so nice!  and she also gave us a warm welcome with a delicious Lichi Drink! I´m gonna miss that...

We were looking for food / Walking around the China Town. Fun Fact about the
China Town in Melaka, they open at 11:00a.m. and close at 5:00p.m.
i heard that this is the laziest China Town in the World.

Restaurant: Jonker 88 / Delicius traditional Melakan food,
nyonya laksa (spicy noodle soup) and the famous dessert, i forgot the name.
Melaka flower & music Taxi: is really famous in this town,
we didn´t ride one because walking was also exiting!

This was also one of the funniest thing that happened in Melaka, We paid for our cartoon drawing next to the river in melaka, this guy told us that he was going to deliver our drawing to the hostel by 11:00p.m. yeah we got it but not at time, around 3:00a.m. the host knot on our doors and we received this surprise!   I wasn´t wearing hot pants and showing my belly! so when i got back to the campus in Guangzhou i add something that look like my dress so i can show it to my family and friends!

Next Stop: Singapore!

Malaysia, KUALA LUMPUR

(please check the THE TIBET PLAN... FAIL before starting to read this one) At the beginning i was unsure, South East Asia never attracted me. The first thing that came to my mind was:"im going to find a lot a nature life and beaches, something i got back in Panama". Of course i was so wrong and ignorant.

We were six in the Tibet travel plan, well actually seven, but one didn't make it at the end.  Jana, Christina, Diana, Vivis and Alvaro's, were the one's who was going to make the travel, including me.
We were all upset, but there was no choice, just make another plan. So the next plan was Malaysia and Singapore, but then alvaro tried to sell them all the idea of visiting Japan, the round trip flight was so cheap that really attracted me, I was convince for one or two day's, but something was wrong there and of course everyone knew it, the radiation problem. Since what happened at the beginning of this year everyone's were worried about the food and being there, so it was better not to take the risk.

We had problem booking the flight for Malaysia, it was stressing, especially for all the other girls.
The first thing in my mind was "i think im gonna stay doing nothing until my flight back to panama, and its gonna be boring and nostalgic". Thanks God everything happened at the right time with the right peoples, i had a lot of fun and this is one of the Travel i´ll never ever forget!

We arrived at the morning and it was raining, we were suppose to eat some traditional Malay breakfast, but the easiest and cheapest thing was Mc Donald´s.
And then the Sun came: we went out for our city trip!
First stop: China Town
I think this was something traditional, i forgot the name but it was so delicious!
Is like pancake with peanut and cooked sugar.

 THE PETRONAS TOWER
I don´t have word to describe this, it was amazing! People where kind, we asked for direction several times and there was no one who refused to tell us where we were and how to get somewhere. The best thing was everyone´s speak perfect English and the FOOD was wonderful, this is a really good place to travel! our next stop was Melaka.
